Magnetic Quick Release Lazy Lasso Upgrade

Does your dog hate having things pulled over their head? Introducing the Magnetic Quick Release Lazy Lasso! With one quick pull of the tab the lasso opens, place the two ends close together and the magnet does the rest!

First, go add the collar you want to your cart.

When you add the Lazy Lasso Upgrade to your cart, we will create your collar as Lazy Lasso! If you’re ordering more than one collar, please specify which collar you’d like us to match in the notes section upon checkout.

Magnetic Quick Release Lazy Lassos come standard with:

  • Collar mounted on D- or O-rings that opens to slip over the head
  • Connected leash in your preferred length (or a Lasso Tab – see last pictures, attach your own leash!)
  • Slide-to-control head opening
  • Magnetic quick release!

Please note: we’re not able to add a magnetic quick release to any of our Mini collars at this time. Collars must be 1″ or wider and in a neck size 13.5″ and above.

This collar is made of heavyweight leather and is 2″ tapered down to a 1.5″ buckle for comfort. If you would like a wider collar, please contact us! Make Me a Sam Brown Buckle!

Turn most of our designs into a low-profile collar with a Sam Brown buckle. These buckles are light and delicate, using a metal button for the closure, but they can hold up to a rowdy pup.

Sam Brown buckles can be tapered down as small as 3/4″ wide. If you want your collar tapered down at the buckle, tell us the width you’d prefer in the notes section upon checkout (1.5″, 1.25″, 1″, 3/4″). Please note that any collar with a Sam Brown upgrade will need to be made with heavyweight leather and will always include a leather keeper to hold the tail in place.

Please also note your dog’s exact neck size in the notes section during checkout!

Make Me a Magic Buckle!

Customize most of our collar designs with the patent-pending Magic Buckle! A collar with a Magic Buckle can serve as a limited slip collar OR a fixed-size collar, depending on which ring you use. With a Sam Brown button to help make it convertible, you can have your choice on walks and around the house.

The Magic Buckle is perfect for anyone whose dog tends to slip out of their collars during walks. Select this option if you need extra handling control and an extra dose of style!

We use a dog’s exact neck size to build the collar, versus a size range like on our regular collars. Curious about how to measure for an exact neck size? Check out the sizing video on our FAQ page!

All Magic Buckle collars will be tapered down in order to function properly, so a 1.5″-wide collar will taper to a 1″, a 1″-wide collar will taper to a 3/4″, etc. If you want a smaller taper please note what size you want in the notes section during checkout. Please note that any collar with a Magic Buckle upgrade needs to be made with heavyweight leather and be at least 1″ wide.
