The Great Debate

It’s Ana Poe’s acting debut. Please don’t laugh.

Yes, the hectic shooting schedule, hours spent cramped in an elevator, and low pay (she was paid in dog shirts, see previous post) did not sway her attitude and she persevered like a true professional.

All roses, congratulatory gifts, and award nominations can be sent to her c/o Paco Collars. Hate mail can be sent to the same, it will just force us to get a bird so we can line the cage with it.

… and all you got was this lousy t-shirt

Well, not yet. First you gotta win it!

Through a strange stroke of luck, we ended up with a handful of these awesome dog shirts touting the supremacy of Paco Collars and we want to share them with you. In the interest of fairness we could just throw one in every 63rd package but that could be problematic (wrong size, your double-coated dog doesn’t tolerate clothing, your dog only shops at Brooks Brothers, etc).

By now you know the way we roll, so we’ll be sending out contest instructions to our newsletter group next week. If you haven’t signed up yet, you’ve got a few days left to do so in order to get a shot at winning. Oh yeah, it’s on!

New Collars, Holla!

We’re always sneaking new things on to the site to keep you on your toes, but these two new designs make us so happy we have to share right off the bat. Introducing, in alphabetical order, The Alabama

and The Uba

Not every decoration that comes our way makes it into becoming a full-fledged Paco Collar, but the ones that do are kind of exceptional. Take a close look at these and you’ll agree!

I swear we didn’t make this up!

Recently we made a new collar, the “Mega Lola”, for Karma, the spokesdog for Karma Charms.

The collar:

The dog:

The result:

The response:

“OMG THEY ARE HERE!!!!!!!!!!

This has been nearly a year long journey – and we’ve finally hit the jackpot with Paco Collars. I can honestly say – there are no other collars worthy of my dog, or any dog I will own in the future, and you can be absolutely, positively sure, that my next partner will also be decked out in Paco gear. I have no doubt whatsoever that these collars are built to last the rest of Karma’s life…and then some!…

I can not thank you enough Ana, really I can’t. I’m literally crying tears of joy here.

Namasté!

Wags and slobbers,
Dana and Karma, SD
Karma Charms, LLC”

Thanks, Dana, you made our day!

Pit Bull Owners Bite Back!

With humor.

Governor Sarah Palin’s pit bull comparison remark struck a chord with pit bull owners across the country and some chose to fight back. I guess the old adage is right, “Dog is fine, beware of owner!”
