Paco is fixed!

Paco went in for bilateral TPLO surgery this Monday, He spent two nights in the hospital but was able to return home yesterday! We’re keeping updates about his progress and fundraising on his own blog page so bookmark the page and check there for updates.

Thank you all for your support during this tough time. . . everyone’s well wishes, stories, and advice have helped us tremendously in coping with this ordeal. Now that the surgery is over it’s just a few months until our little spokesdog is back to normal!

Paco Collars meets Daytime TV!

Sadly we are not adorning the neck of Erica Kane as she delivers an infamous backhand to one of her many suitors, but this clip is worth the watch:

It’s the Rachel Ray show, and notice how handsome Johnny is in his Paco Collar!

Let the saga begin. . .

So leg troubles are not a new problem for Paco. He’s had issues before but has always been able to bounce back. This week, though, the worst we could fear came true and he busted one, if not both, of his ACLs. The bad news is that our only recourse now is surgery, but one TPLO surgery alone costs an arm and a leg (no pun intended).

What we’ve done, in an effort of good faith, is to create a new blog to bring attention/updates to the issue and raise money. The way we see it, if everyone who reads this donates just $5, then we’ll be well on our way to raising the money it takes to fix our little spokesdog up.

Like they say, “it takes a village to fix a dog”!
